MAIMERI ICON PRIMER 125 ML.
The "Maimeri" icon primer is used to prepare icons for the application of gold leaf.
The icon primer is made from rabbit glue and gesso. It has a soft consistency that easily penetrates the pores of the surfaces and seals them, making their surface perfectly smooth and free from imperfections. To facilitate application, the icon primer should be slightly warmed in a water bath before use and applied cool, using a soft brush. After drying, the primed surface is smoothed with fine sandpaper. For perfect leveling of imperfections and to ensure a perfectly smooth base for the application of gold leaf, 3 to 5 layers of primer are required.
The "Maimeri" gold leaf primer is available in jars with a capacity of 125 ml.
