The ABIG press roller is designed for transferring images in linocut. It can be used with both special linocut inks and acrylic, tempera paints, or ink.
The ink application presses from the German company "ABIG" have an outer layer made of special soft rubber and an inner part made of plastic material, preventing the inks from soaking through and distorting their appearance. They feature a wooden handle with a comfortable grip shape, and unlike regular ink rollers, the press rollers do not have holders for securing above the working area.
The roller - press for linocut from "Abig" has a width of 9 mm and a diameter of 48 mm. It is ideal for applying paint or ink in hard-to-reach and narrow places. In addition to transferring images, it can also be used for fixing small decorative elements, stickers, and labels.
