Naples Yellow Deep is a warm, opaque yellow pigment. Its name originally comes from natural deposits in the Vesuvius area, in Naples. This pigment was used by artists during the Renaissance and has been artificially produced since the 15th century. Part of the palette of the Old Masters, it is characterized by a deep, warm shade that is ideal for creating rich and warm yellow tones in works.
