A single color watercolour pastel from the Neocolor II series by Caran d'Ache - a company that is a leader in the production of high-quality artistic materials, which help drawings achieve incredible depth and realism.
The Neocolor II pastels are water-soluble pastels with highly concentrated and saturated pigments. They write more softly than dry colored pencils and more densely than pastels. They dissolve easily in water, resembling the effect of watercolors, and can either give the drawing a solid and evenly saturated color, or, depending on the artist's desire, create a shade or highlight, emphasizing a part or detail of the painting.
