ARTS FIBERBOARD 50/70

The drawing fiberboard is used as a base for painting pictures and icons with oil, tempera, and acrylic paints.

The fiberboard is a natural product obtained through mechanical friction and technological steam from wood chips of various types of wood. Binding components are added to the wood that has been processed in this way, and then, through additional hot pressing, the resulting mass is transformed into a solid board made of wood fibers, known as fiberboard. The special treatment of the fiberboard allows for an ideally smooth surface without any scratches, and like any wooden base, it is suitable for painting with various paints. To reduce the absorbency of the fiberboard, prevent the brittleness of the painting, and create a clean and bright base for the colors to stand out, it should be pre-treated with priming. In addition to serving as a painting base, the fiberboard can also be used as a support on which canvas or drawing paper can be placed, thus providing a flat and smooth working area.

The dimensions of the unprimed wooden fiberboard painting base are 50 x 70 cm.
