The mixions from Lefranc & Bourgeois are designed to create a golden, silver, or copper effect when decorating icons and decoupage projects on bases such as wood, cardboard, canvas, plastic, glass, metal, and more.
The oil mixion is a liquid adhesive based on oils and solvents, suitable for use on any surfaces. It is applied with a soft brush onto a surface previously sealed with acrylic paint primer. Depending on the surface, it dries in about 3 hours, after which gold leaf or metal foil for gilding can be applied to its sticky surface.
