Extremely fine poliment in the form of a clay paste, which contains pure aluminum oxide, ground between granite rollers. The manufacturing process ensures the highest quality and effectiveness in use. The oldest method for adhering (applying) hand-hammered or rolled gold leaf known in our country as varak or metal sheets, imitation gold known in our country as shlak metal, is by using POLIMENT - an adhesive that enhances the tone and shine of gold during cleaning/polishing. After polishing, the poliment becomes visible through the fine sheets of varak/shlak metal.

Application:

1 volume of poliment is mixed with 2 volumes of warm solution of rabbit skin glue. It is applied in 3 - 4 thin layers on a smooth usually primed surface, with each subsequent layer applied only after the complete drying of the previous one.
