The acrylic paints from the "Very Chalky" series by the Turkish company "Cadence" are high-quality and non-toxic, versatile acrylics, particularly suitable for decorating furniture.
The Cadence Very Chalky furniture paint is the most preferred ultra-matte paint due to its high coverage characteristic. It is the most preferred paint for achieving an antique effect on wooden surfaces. It dries quickly, and the recommended waiting time before applying the next layer is 6 hours. Thanks to its ultra-matte velvet texture based on water, it can be easily applied to any surfaces, including varnished surfaces. Very Chalky paint can be applied to wood, styrofoam, masonry, stone, canvas, concrete, terracotta, brick, paper, metal, and ceramic surfaces.
The "Very Chalky" acrylic paints are water-based and are diluted with water during application. They have a smooth, creamy texture and are easily mixable with each other. Once dried, the decorations made with them acquire a dense and highly water- and light-resistant matte finish.

Cadence Very Chalky Home Decor application method:
The surface should be cleaned of grease and adhesives with water and vinegar. The paint should be applied in thin layers. Do not attempt to cover the surface with one thick layer, as this reduces the durability of the paint. Try to apply at least two layers instead of one. Wait 6 hours for drying between layers. If a texture has formed and you do not want it, use sandpaper between each layer to remove the roughness of the paint. The varnish should be applied at least 24 hours after completing the process. You can apply matte, semi-matte, glossy, opaque glaze varnish, stone varnish, etc. The most preferred varnish is Velvet Matte Varnish.
The universal acrylic paints intended for painting, decoupage, and decoration from the "Very Chalky" series are available in transparent plastic jars with a capacity of 500 ml.
