The rice paper has a dense and highly water-resistant structure, but when wet, its surface becomes transparent, allowing for an impressive highlighting of the colored decorative motifs. It adheres easily to smooth surfaces without tearing or wrinkling. It can be used not only as a whole picture but also cut into individual elements.
