A set of colored pencils from the "Museum" series by "Caran d'Ache" - a company that is a leader in the production of high-quality artistic materials, which help drawings achieve incredible depth and realism.
The "Museum" watercolour pencils have highly concentrated and saturated pigments. They write softer than dry colored pencils and denser than pastels. They easily dissolve with water, resembling the effect of watercolour paints and can either give the drawing a rich and evenly saturated color or, depending on the artist's desire, create a shade or highlight, emphasizing a part or detail of the painting.
The professional "Museum" pencil set contains 18 colors of 3.8 mm watercolour pencils, 2 Technalo 3.8 mm watercolour graphite pencils, 3 pencil holders with sharpeners Fixpencil, a Petit Gris No 12 squirrel brush, a 10 ml tube of white gouache, an eraser, a bowl, and a glass test tube. The pencils could successfully be combined with watercolour pastels or colored pencils from "Caran d'Ache" with similar shades from the same range, which would lead to a smooth transition and blending of colors and tones, aiming to achieve more contrasting, bright, and vibrant 3D paintings.
