Professional sketchbook for dry techniques by Clairefontaine.

The sketchbook contains 12 sheets in corn, buttercup, dark gray, and light gray colors. Between each sheet, there is a parchment sheet to protect the artworks from smudging.

Pastelmat by Clairefontaine is designed to meet the specifications of the most demanding pastel, charcoal, and graphite artists. The velvety drawing paper will hold several layers of pastel and reduce the need for fixative.

The surface is a true innovation that combines the advantages of two traditional papers. The fine cellulose fiber particles attached to the surface create a velvety substrate for drawing that will hold multiple layers of pastel and reduce the need for fixative, ensuring longevity.

This artist paper is acid-free, lightfast, and water-resistant for use with both wet and dry techniques. It is sturdy and thick at 360 g for a luxurious and durable performance.

The paper is suitable for all dry techniques, graphite, sanguine, charcoal, and chalk, making drawing with dry pastels a true pleasure.
