MAIMERI MASKING LIQUID FOR WATERCOLOUR 125 ML
The masking liquid is an additive used to create resistance against water-based paints applied on it - watercolours, acrylics, gouache, and tempera.
The "Maimeri" masking liquid is composed of water, resin, and additives. It has a pale, transparent color. It acts as a protective medium that seals the base of the painting and prevents the subsequently applied acrylic paints, watercolours, tempera paints, or gouache from being absorbed into it. After the paints dry, the areas covered with masking liquid are rubbed off, causing the thin covering layer to peel away and reveal the unpainted surface.
The "Maimeri" acrylic masking liquid is stored in a glass jar with a capacity of 125 ml. The brushes used for applying it should be cleaned immediately after use with water and soap, as the medium is difficult to clean once dried.
