ARTS FIBER PRIMED 50 / 70

The primed fiber is a specially treated wood board suitable for painting pictures and icons with egg tempera, oil, acrylic, and tempera paints.

The fiber is a natural product obtained under the influence of mechanical friction and technological steam from chips of various types of wood. Binding components are added to the wood that has been separated in this way, and then, through additional hot pressing, the resulting mass is transformed into a solid board of wood fibers, known as fiber. The special treatment of the fiber allows for an ideally smooth surface without any scratches, and like any wooden base, it is suitable for painting with various paints. In order to reduce the absorbency of the fiber, prevent the brittleness of the painting, and create a clean and bright base for the colors to stand out, the fiber is primed.

The dimensions of the primed fiber for painting are 50 x 70 cm.
