The crackle varnish "Step One" is designed to create a cracking and aging effect when decorating and decoupaging.
The crackle varnish "Step 1" is a fast-drying acrylic varnish applied to a pre-primed surface. It has a dense milky white color that becomes transparent and highly sticky 30 minutes after application. On top of it, crackle "Step 2" is applied, and as it dries, the decorated item acquires striking cracks. The resulting cracks are subsequently filled with patinas, powder pigments, or bitumen, which emphasizes the antique appearance of the item, and to prevent dirt from settling in the cracks, the artificially aged piece should be varnished.
The transparent crackle varnish "Step One" from "Daily Art" is available in plastic bottles of 30, 60, or 120 ml.
