The crackle varnish is designed to create a cracking and aging effect in decoration and decoupage.
The crackle varnish "Step 1" is a fast-drying acrylic varnish applied to a pre-primed surface. It has a dense milky white color that, 30 minutes after application, acquires a transparent and highly sticky surface. On top of it, crackle "Step 2" is applied, and as it dries, the decorated item gains impressive cracks. To prevent dirt from settling in the cracks, the artwork should be varnished.
