The crackle varnish "Step One" is designed to create a cracking and aging effect for decoration and decoupage.
The crackle varnish "Step 1" is a fast-drying acrylic varnish applied to a pre-primed surface. It has a dense milky white color that, 30 minutes after application, acquires a transparent and highly sticky surface. On top of it, crackle "Step 2" is applied, which, upon drying, gives the decorated item striking cracks. The resulting cracks are subsequently filled with patinas, powder pigments, or bitumen, highlighting the antique appearance of the item, and to prevent dirt from accumulating between the cracks, the artificially aged work should be varnished.
The transparent crackle varnish "Step One" from "Daily Art" is available in plastic bottles of 30, 60, or 120 ml.
