The gilding starter set contains everything necessary for creating a golden effect - from primer and glue to metal foil and final varnish for sealing. The metal foil in flakes is a fine transfer foil that effectively imitates noble metals like gold, silver, and copper. The small flakes of metal foil are sprinkled onto a flat and smooth base (if the base is porous, it should be pre-treated with primer). A highly adhesive glue is applied to the desired base, allowed to dry, and then sprinkled with the fine foil and pressed down using a soft brush or sponge to ensure it adheres well to the surface. To remove any unnecessary and non-adhered protruding pieces of metal foil, they are rubbed off, resulting in a smooth and even gilded, silvered, or copper surface.

The gilding starter set from "Daily Art" includes 2 primers - black and red, gilding glue, final varnish for gilding, gold-colored metal foil, and metal foil with silver and copper flakes. Each of the mentioned products comes in a plastic container with a capacity of 25 ml. or 0.3 g for the metal foil.
