The transparent crackle varnish "Step 2" is designed to create a cracking and aging effect in decoration and decoupage.
"Step 2" of the two-phase crackle is a water-based crackling varnish that is applied over the crackle varnish "Step 1". As it dries, the crackle varnish splits, creating striking decorative cracks that can subsequently be filled with antique pastes, powder pigments, or bitumen, which emphasize the aged appearance of the item. After the entire decoration of the piece, it should be varnished to protect it from scratching and dust accumulation.
The two-phase crackle varnish "Step Two" from "Daily Art" is available in plastic bottles of 30, 60, and 120 ml.
