The crackle varnish "Step One" is designed to create a cracking and aging effect when decorating and decoupage.
The crackle varnish "Step 1" is a fast-drying acrylic varnish applied to a pre-primed surface. It has a dense milky white color that becomes transparent and highly sticky 30 minutes after application. Crackle "Step 2" is applied over it, and upon drying, the decorated item acquires striking cracks. The resulting cracks are subsequently filled with patinas, powder pigments, or bitumen, which emphasizes the antique appearance of the item, and to prevent dirt from settling in the cracks, the artificially aged artwork should be varnished.
The two-phase crackle varnish "Step One" from "Daily Art" is available in plastic bottles of 30, 60, and 120 ml, and in jars with a capacity of 300 ml.
