The crackle varnish "Step One" is designed to create a cracking and aging effect in decoration and decoupage.
The crackle varnish "Step 1" is a fast-drying acrylic varnish applied to a pre-primed surface. It has a dense milky white color that, 30 minutes after application, acquires a transparent and highly sticky surface. On top of it, crackle "Step 2" is applied, and as it dries, the decorated object gains striking cracks. The resulting cracks can then be filled with patinas, powdered pigments, or bitumen, which emphasizes the antique appearance of the object, and to prevent dirt from settling between the cracks, the artificially aged piece should be varnished.
The two-phase crackle varnish "Step One" by "Daily Art" is available in plastic bottles of 30, 60, and 120 ml, and in jars with a capacity of 300 ml.
