MAIMERI CRACKLE VARNISH FOR DECOUPAGE 125 ML.
The universal crackle varnish from "Maimeri" is designed to create a decorative, antique look on various household items and souvenirs. It can be used on surfaces such as wood, stone, cardboard, ceramics, clay, and others.
The crackle medium is water-based, colorless, and is applied between two layers of acrylic paints in contrasting colors. The sticky surface of the varnish cracks the top layer of paint, allowing the initially applied color to show through the cracks. It is important to know that before applying each of the layers of paint-crackle-paint, one must wait for the previous layer to dry completely. "Maimeri" crackle varnish dries in about 30 minutes. If the goal is to achieve straight and horizontal cracks, the crackle and paint should be applied in the same direction, while if the aim is for scattered and network-like cracks, the crackle varnish and acrylic should be applied in opposite directions. After the entire piece is decorated, it should be varnished to prevent dirt from accumulating in the cracks.
The universal crackle medium for decoupage from "Maimeri" is available in a glass jar with a capacity of 125 ml.
