The products from the "Idea Medium" series of the Italian company "Maimeri" are used as additives when working with acrylic paints to achieve various decorative effects.
The "Idea Medium" brilliant gel from "Maimeri" is water-based. It has a thick and dense consistency and a semi-transparent color with a shiny hue that, in its pure form, creates a transparent and glossy film resembling glass after drying. It is used for mixing with acrylics, enhancing their density and gloss, and allowing for the creation of volumetric layers in painting as well as for making relief decorations in decoupage. It can be used on various surfaces, forming a waterproof film with a glass-like glossy effect after drying. The drying time depends on the thickness of the applied layer.
The brilliant gel for acrylic paints from "Maimeri" is available in a jar with a capacity of 125 ml.
