Final varnishes are applied to finished paintings, art, and craft projects to protect the works from the harmful effects of light and moisture.
The final varnishes from Winton & Newton are designed for sealing paintings done in acrylic and oil. They are resistant to UV rays, do not yellow over time, dry quickly, and do not crack.
They should not be applied to paint that is not completely dry! Do not use as a medium!
It can be easily removed with mineral spirits or refined turpentine.
