MAIMERI FLAKE METAL IN FLAKES 3.5 G - RED MIX
The flake metal from the "Idea Oro" series by "Maimeri" is designed for perfect imitation of gold, silver, or copper effects on various surfaces. It is used for decorating icons and decoupage projects on bases such as wood, cardboard, canvas, plastic, clay, metal, and more.
The flake metal is a fine transfer foil that effectively imitates noble metals like gold, silver, and copper. The tiny flakes of flake metal are sprinkled onto a flat and smooth base (if the base is porous, it should be pre-treated with a primer). A highly adhesive glue is applied to the desired base, which is then sprinkled with the fine foil and pressed down using a soft brush or sponge to ensure it adheres well to the glue. To remove any unnecessary and non-adhered protruding pieces of flake metal, they are rubbed off, resulting in a smooth and even gilded, silvered, or coppered surface.
