Norma® Professional is a modern, environmentally formulated oil paint of the highest quality for professional and demanding oil painting.
The balanced range of colors consists of 84 brilliant, traditional, and modern colors, including 27 high-quality transparent colors and several unique special colors. They include not only highly lightfast and opaque chrome yellow shades but also special shades like poppy red, cobalt turquoise, agate brown, Schwäbisch green, neutral black, gold, silver, bronze, and others. All 84 colors have maximum lightfastness (4-5 stars).
The environmentally based formula includes the use of many natural, sustainable raw materials. High-quality, pure combinations of vegetable oils provide good adhesion, optimal pigment absorption, and reduced tendency to yellowing. The best classic and newest technical pigments, used in the highest concentration, ensure maximum application degree and exceptional brightness and gloss of all colors. Careful preparation, traditional grinding on three roller mills, and aging for three months before bottling ensure that the raw materials develop optimally in the pure oil paint.
All colors have a balanced, creamy oil consistency and therefore have the best painting characteristics and optimal working traces. Moreover, the optimization of the formula leads to shorter and more even drying of all colors, ensuring brilliant and extremely durable surfaces.
Norma® Professional has unlimited possibilities for mixing and combining with all Schmincke oil paints (MUSSINI®, AKADEMIE® Oil color, and College® Oil) and all oil mediums.
