Single colored watercolor pencil from Caran d'Ache from the series of single watercolor pencils Prismalo - some of the highest quality water-soluble pencils known on the market, with a high degree of solubility, coverage, and lightfastness.
The Prismalo water pencil is suitable for drawing on any type of paper. It has a soft and water-soluble core with a diameter of 3 mm, featuring bright and saturated dye pigments, while its hexagonal body, made of cedar, is wrapped in a colored coating matching its graphite color. It possesses a bright and lightfast color. Thanks to its quality pigments, the watercolor pencil does not fade when in contact with water; on the contrary, it can both give the drawing a dense and uniformly saturated color and, depending on the artist's desire, create a shade or highlight, emphasizing a part or detail of the painting.
The water pencil in cobalt blue could successfully be combined with other water-soluble pencils in similar shades from the same color range, which would lead to a smooth transition and blending of colors and shades, aiming to achieve more contrasting, bright, and vibrant 3D pictures.
