The Nepalese handmade paper is suitable for decorating lamps, wrapping gifts, making cards, boxes, albums, and appliqués, as well as various art, craft, and scrapbook projects.
The Nepalese handmade paper is produced from the natural fibers of the lokta plant. The varying lengths and uneven distribution of these fibers give it not only a characteristic irregular texture but also greater density than ordinary paper. The process of its creation allows for the incorporation of various plant elements, such as dried flowers, leaves, grasses, seeds, or spices. It can be colored with different pigments, colored specks from petals can be sprinkled on it, or striking embossed prints can be created. Each piece of handmade paper is not only unique and one-of-a-kind in design but also highly resistant to wetting.
The specified handmade Nepalese craft paper is naturally white in color and has a textured surface. It is offered in the form of A4 sheets, and its weight is 60 g/m².
