NERCHAU DAMAR VARNISH 1000 ML

NERCHAU DAMAR VARNISH 1000 ML.

The damar varnish is a final varnish for oil painting, creating a protective layer on paintings made with oil paints.

The "Rubens" damar varnish from "Nerchau" is composed of a mixture of solvents and damar resin. It has a thick consistency with a golden hue. It is used not only to increase the durability of the paintings but also to enhance the gloss, transparency, and depth of their colors. Since it dries quickly, it can also be used to achieve an even and rapid drying of the oil paints from the "Rubens" series.

The "Rubens" damar varnish from "Nerchau" is available in a 1000 ml container. The medium is easily flammable, which is why it should be stored in a dark place, in a tightly closed container.
