CARAN D'ACHE WATERCOLOUR PASTELS NEOCOLOR II DARK BLUE 149
A single colored watercolour pastel from the Neocolor II series by Caran d'Ache - a company that is a leader in the production of high-quality artistic materials, with which drawings gain incredible depth and realism.
The Neocolor II pastels are water-soluble pastels with highly concentrated and saturated pigments. They write more softly than dry colored pencils and more densely than pastels. They dissolve easily with water, resembling the effect of watercolors and can either provide the drawing with a solid and evenly saturated color or, depending on the artist's desire, create a shade or highlight, emphasizing a part or detail of the painting.
The water-soluble pastel "Neocolor II" could successfully be combined with other watercolour pastels or colored pencils from "Caran d'Ache" with similar shades from the same range, which would lead to a smooth transition and blending of colors and tones, aiming to achieve more contrasting, bright, and vibrant 3D paintings.
