The Neocolor I pastels are oil pastels based on wax with highly concentrated and saturated pigments. They apply smoothly and easily, have excellent coverage, and feature non-fading and water-resistant colors. They can be thinned with turpentine, resembling the effect of oil paints. They can be used on various surfaces - paper, cardboard, wood, leather, fabric, stone, glass, and more.
