The patina, produced by the Latvian company Daily Art, is used to create a decorative aging effect on uneven, textured surfaces.
The antique patina from "Daily Art" is a wax-based paste created using a new, unique technology, allowing it to be mixed and dissolved in water, similar to acrylic pastes. It is designed to highlight decorative cracks that occur during cracking with crackle and to create an antique look on various raised surfaces. It dries for 30 minutes, after which it becomes water-resistant and can be sealed with a final acrylic varnish. The necessary amount for use is taken from the jar using a clean knife or spatula, and then applied to the decorated object with a brush, finger, or cotton cloth. To prevent changes in the properties of the patina due to contamination, it should not be mixed with fingers, cloths, or wet brushes in the storage jar.
The set includes 2 primers (bases for application) - red and black, and 4 metallic patinas - silver, copper, and 2 shades of gold. Each color comes in a transparent jar with a capacity of 25 ml. The patina should be stored in tightly closed containers and protected from freezing.
