The Patina Anticante paste, produced by the Italian company Stamperia, is used to create an aging effect on uneven, textured surfaces.

The antique patina is ideal for highlighting crackle effects or creating shiny, three-dimensional effects. In addition to these purposes, two of the shades - black and white - are used to create highlights on various raised surfaces. The pastes are applied using a piece of cloth or a brush, and excess material is removed by wiping with a cloth soaked in solvent. Such a solvent is the product Solvente, whose formula is specially designed for use with the antique patina "Patina Anticante" and wax paste "CerAntika".
