Masking fluid for watercolor by Schmincke.
It is used to protect fragments from repainting in works created with watercolor paints, ink, or diluted gouache.
The masking fluid can be successfully used on paper, cardboard, wood, and many other surfaces. Use a brush, stick, or pen to apply it to the areas of the surface you want to mask rather than cover with paint. Once the material dries, you can start painting. After the applied paint is completely dry, simply wipe the areas with the masking fluid with your finger or an eraser to reveal the painted part.
