SCHMINCKE PASTEL SET 10 COLORS.

Working with the finest extra soft pastels Schmincke contains only the purest medium finely ground artist pigments, which are in the highest possible concentration. In contrast, the content of binding substance is minimized, ensuring a stable mixture. To guarantee the highest quality, Schmincke pastels must be produced according to special recipes that avoid the use of machines during production. Worm extruders shape the pre-kneaded dough into round sticks, which are then separated by hand and cut in a frame with wire threads. The wet sticks must dry for about eight days before they can be labeled and packaged by hand. This is an expensive and time-consuming process, but it is the only way Schmincke can ensure homogeneous quality and smoothness in all production cycles, so that the artist can be sure that their favorite color shade is consistent throughout our range of finest extra soft pastels for artists. This cardboard set contains 10 Schmincke Finest Extra-Soft pastels. It is an ideal set for those who want to start using this technique.
