SCHMINCKE СУХ ПАСТЕЛ REDDISH VIOLET, O 17056079

The dry pastels contain only the purest medium-fine ground artist pigments, which are in the highest possible concentration. In this context, the content of the binding substance is minimized, ensuring a stable mixture. To guarantee the highest quality, the production of Schmincke pastels must be carried out using special recipes that avoid the use of machines during production.

'Extruder worms' shape the pre-kneaded dough into round sticks, which are then separated by hand and cut into a frame with wire. The wet sticks must dry for about eight days before they can be labeled and packaged by hand. This is an expensive and time-consuming process; however, it is the only way Schmincke can ensure homogeneous quality and smoothness in all production cycles.
