The metal flakes are used for gilding, silver or copper effects on various surfaces, for decorating icons and decoupage projects on bases such as wood, cardboard, canvas, plastic, clay, metal, etc.

The metal flakes are fine pieces of foil that effectively imitate noble metals like gold, silver, and copper. The small flakes are sprinkled onto a flat and smooth base (if the base is porous, it should be pre-treated with a primer). A strong adhesive (POLYMER MIXION) is applied to the desired base, which is then sprinkled with the fine foil and pressed down using a soft brush or sponge to ensure it adheres well to the glue. To remove unnecessary and non-adhered protruding pieces of metal flakes, they are rubbed off, resulting in a smooth and even gilded, silvered, or coppered surface.
