Sizzix dies are suitable for decorating all kinds of art, craft, and scrapbook projects, such as making albums, cards, boxes, envelopes, invitations, collages, appliqués, photo frames, and more.

The "Sizzix" dies are metal templates designed for cutting shapes from paper, cardboard, metallic foil, and vellum. In addition to these materials, the thicker dies can cut fabrics like leather, cloth, magnetic sheets, and foam paper. The "Sizzix" dies are compatible with the Big Shot, BIGkick, and Vagabond cutting and embossing machines, and when placed in them, they must be arranged like a "sandwich" and together with the chosen cutting surface, placed between special cutting mats. The pressure applied as they pass through the machine presses cuts fine and detailed outlines along the lines of the matrices.

The gift-shaped cutting dies are of the thin die type, and their dimensions are 3.18 x 4.45 cm.
