The Sizzix dies are suitable for decorating all kinds of art, craft, and scrapbook projects, such as making albums, cards, boxes, envelopes, invitations, collages, appliqués, photo frames, and more.

The "Sizzix" dies are metal templates designed for cutting shapes from paper, cardboard, metal foil, and vellum. In addition to these materials, thicker dies can cut fabrics such as leather, cloth, magnetic sheets, and EVA foam. The die is compatible with the Big Shot Plus and Big Shot Pro cutting and embossing machines, and standard cutting pads and the machine's platform must be used. When using the Big Shot Plus machine, "adapter A" is required. Due to its complexity, the die may need to pass through the machine up to 3 times. This die can also be used for embossing by combining the machine's platform with a silicone cutting pad and an "Impressions pad." The machine's instructions describe how to make the perfect cutting "sandwich."
