The "Sizzix" die cuts are suitable for decorating all kinds of art, craft, and scrapbook projects, such as making albums, cards, boxes, envelopes, invitations, collages, appliqués, photo frames, and more.
The "Sizzix" dies are cutting templates designed for shaping figures from paper, cardboard, metallic foil, and vellum. In addition to these materials, the thicker dies can cut fabrics such as leather, cloth, magnetic sheets, and EVA foam. The "Sizzix" dies are compatible with Big Shot, BIGkick, and Vagabond cutting and embossing machines, and when placed in them, they must be arranged like a "sandwich" and together with the chosen cutting surface, placed between special cutting pads. The pressure exerted during the passage through the machine presses cuts fine and detailed outlines along the lines of the dies.
The pinecone die cut is of the thick die type, with a thickness of 1.58 cm and approximate dimensions of 14 x 15 cm, while the finished 3D figure measures 5 x 4.7 cm.
