Sizzix die cuts are suitable for decorating all kinds of art, craft, and scrapbook projects, such as making albums, cards, boxes, envelopes, invitations, collages, appliqués, photo frames, and more.

The “Sizzix” dies are metal templates designed for cutting shapes from paper, cardboard, metallic foil, and vellum. In addition to these materials, thicker dies can cut fabrics like leather, cloth, and magnetic sheets. The die is compatible with Sizzix cutting and embossing machines, and standard cutting pads and the machine's platform must be used. Due to its complexity, the die may need to pass through the machine up to 3 times. The die can be used for embossing, as the machine's platform is combined with a silicone cutting pad. The instructions for the machine describe how to make the perfect “sandwich” for cutting.
