SIZZIX SILICONE MAT 14.92 X 19.05 X 0.16 CM.

The silicone mats from "Sizzix" are designed for use with the Big Shot, Sizzix BIGkick, and Vagabond die-cutting and embossing machines.

The "Sizzix" silicone (rubber) mats are used for creating embossing, together with texture plates and embossing templates. Since they are not firm enough to provide the necessary pressure for cutting along the lines of the dies, they are ideal for shaping the raised embossed contours of images or outlining folding lines. They are used to form a sandwich that passes through the die-cutting and embossing machines, arranged as follows: a clear plexiglass mat, an embossing die, paper, a thin silicone mat (rubber), and a hard black latex embossing mat (Impressions Pad). The hard Impressions Pad compensates for the flexibility of the rubber mat placed beneath it, providing sufficient pressure and height to apply the necessary force, resulting in striking embossed images. In turn, the soft rubber silicone mat allows for proper folding along the outlines, or in other words - the two black mats are used together, even though they are offered separately.
