Permanent Magenta is a pigment that is less purple than Quinacridone Magenta and has a slight bluish tint. It is based on the Quinacridone pigment introduced in the 1950s, which has a very strong coloring effect and high shading ability. This pigment creates very deep and bright purple shades when mixed with Ultramarine Blue.
