W&N GESSO GALERIA 2.5 LITERS - 3055948
The gesso is used to prepare various surfaces for painting with acrylic and oil paints.
The gesso is an acrylic medium that is applied to the chosen object using a brush or a sponge applicator. When used on cardboard, canvas, clay, or wood, it provides a smooth base for better adhesion of the paints. It smooths out imperfections and seals the pores of the objects, preventing subsequently applied paints, glues, mediums, and additives from penetrating beneath the surface and damaging their structure. The gesso dries for 1-2 hours. It has a dense, opaque white color, which is an ideal base for highlighting colors. The tools used for its application are easily cleaned with tap water.
